Research in the Contet laboratory is funded by grants from the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism, the nation's lead agency for research on the health effects of alcohol.
Candice is the Principal Investigator on

an R21 project entitled "Role of glucocorticoid receptor-mediated mRNA decay in alcohol dependence"
Candice and Jeff co-lead the Molecular Component of TSRI Alcohol Research Center "CNS Effects of Alcohol: Cellular Neurobiology".
Postdoctoral fellows can be supported by the T32 grant "Neuropsychopharmacology: Multidisciplinary Training" to receive research training in the Contet laboratory.
The Contet laboratory is also part of the Pearson Center for Alcoholism and Addiction Research.
